Coil threading is not standard across brands, and the model name printed on a tank is frequently not the model name printed on the coil that fits it. Thirty seconds across the counter beats a guess. Coil resistance changes the experience more than wattage does. A lower resistance coil runs hotter and produces more vapour; a higher one is cooler and sips less battery. If a device feels wrong, the coil is usually the reason before the settings are. Pod system or box mod? A pod is smaller, simpler, and there’s less to get wrong — fewer settings, fewer parts, easier to carry. A box mod gives you control over wattage and airflow and a much bigger battery. If you want something that just works in a pocket, buy the pod. Coils are consumable. They’re meant to be replaced on a schedule, not run until something tastes wrong. Buying a pack rather than a single is usually the cheaper habit. If your device is a few years old, ask before you buy coils in bulk.
